At just four years old, twin brothers Bruno and Leo were already living in instability. Their mother struggled with addiction, and their father was involved in criminal activity, leaving them without protection or a safe place to grow.

As their situation worsened, a plan was set in motion to traffic them across the U.S. border and sell them into exploitation. Their future was being decided for them before they ever had a chance to choose anything for themselves.

Until it was stopped.

Authorities on the ground recognized that something wasn’t right and intervened before the boys could be taken any further. What could have become a permanent nightmare was disrupted in a critical moment.
