Seven Colombian women were lured to the Dominican Republic with false promises of jobs, then trapped in sexual exploitation under a fraudulent debt. After an emergency call, Answer International-funded operators and the National Police rescued all seven women, arrested one trafficker, and helped begin their path to safety and restoration.

When baby Bill came into Answer International’s care, he was near death, with no home and no one to protect him. Today, he is healthy, growing, and surrounded by love because Answer International and their trusted partners stepped in.

What began as a rescue operation in Colombia led all the way back to two men in New York. Through the work of Answer International-funded partners and law enforcement, both men were arrested and six children were rescued.

What began as a search for one missing girl quickly turned into a dangerous shootout and a fight that ultimately brought three young girls out of trafficking and into a new life of freedom.
