Philip was only two days old when he was abandoned at a hospital. His mother was trapped in prostitution and exploitation herself. While Answer International teams will continue working to help free her, Philip had nowhere to go and no one to care for him.

But Philip’s story was not over.

In a heartbreaking act, his mother left him where he could be found. That decision ultimately gave Philip a future and may have saved his life.

Authorities called Answer International because they knew Philip could be placed somewhere safe. Today, he is surrounded by people who will feed him, protect him, and love him as he grows.

Without intervention, Philip could have grown up in the same cycle of exploitation his mother was trapped in, vulnerable to abuse, trafficking, or life on the streets. Instead, that cycle ends here.

Philip was just two days old when he came into Answer International’s care. Now, he has a future.
